    After a lip treatment at Semi-Permanent Makeup, you never have to worry about smearing lipstick on your teeth, colour bleeding past the edges of your mouth during dinner, or reapplying that lip tint just to maintain some colour. Instead, you can be confident that your colour will never wear.

    We use a "Full-Lip-Shading" technique to blend the colour onto two-thirds of your lips to give you a perfect pout! Once completed, you will have perfectly applied constant lip colour.

What is Semi-Permanent Make-Up?

Semi-Permanent Make-Up also known as micro pigmentation can be likened to a form of cosmetic tattooing. The therapist uses a fine needle to insert colour pigment in the skin using a small hand held electrical device. The needle penetrates the skin to a depth of a few millimetres and the new pigment is deposited in the dermal layer of the skin, just below the surface to enhance and strengthen facial features.

Does Semi-Permanent Make-up Hurt?

Depending on the individuals level of sensitivity, there may be some discomfort. However,a topical anesthetic cream is applied to the area prior to treatment to minimise this discomfort.

What is the procedure & recovery time?

  • A free consultation will be arranged with Candy to discuss semi-permanent make-up and a patch test will be applied
  • After the free consultation and selecting your procedure, the treatments can take up to 2 hours depending on the area
  • Once you have had your procedure recovery can take between 5-7 days
  • During this time, you need to apply the products provided (several times per day) as instructed by Candy

How long will semi-permanent make-up last?

Results can last between 2 -5 years, eyebrows generally last up to 3 years & eyeliner and lip up to 5 years. See Maintenance.
